Mubasher: Ooredoo has said its negotiations with Salam International regarding a potential acquisition by Ooredoo have come to an end.
Ooredoo previously said it was in talks to acquire a stake in Salam Technologies, a subsidiary of Qatar-based Salam International Investment Limited (SIIL).
Talks came to “as both parties did not reach a satisfactory agreement on the deal,” Ooredoo said in a statement.
Last month, Abu Dhabi and Qatar-listed Ooredoo announced achieving a profit of QAR 1.097 billion in the first six months of 2017, down from QAR 1.462 billion in the year-ago period.
